How To Be Immortal

Becoming Immortal: Leaving a Legacy

The world is out there for us to shine, so don’t settle for mediocrity. It has to be your goal to develop and train yourself to become a legacy. To become a person of inspiration, a talisman to your friends and to leave a lasting impact on anyone you meet.

Of course, this won’t be easy. You’ll think that doing all this will be impossible, but it’s not that hard either. You are special, as much as I am. And there are very important points in life where you could really make a big impact on other people.

Here I’ll explore the five that I find the most effective. Start with one way, then develop another and ultimately work with all five:

1- Be an inspirational figure.

We all have anecdotes of courage, hope, idealism and dreams. It’s just that few speak them up. Be one of those few and inspire people.

Find and develop voice and help to change the world. Tell people that we can transcend, that we can be someone in this world. Don’t let them live a mediocre life, don’t let them settle for less. Inspire people to be significant, to pursue what they want from life and to work hard to get it.

From a small blog to face-to-face conferences, find a way and do it. Give your small grain of sand and help out. Do remarkable things and show the world how possible they are. Show that when you have a clear objective and the unbreakable will to make them real, you can do it. Teach hope, work and persistence.

2- Change their lives.

Push people to change. Motivate and inspire them to do what they really want to and live the life they always dreamed about. Show them that their dreams and goals are possible.

Be an optimist. Never be an obstacle nor turn ideas down. Instead, motivate your friends, family and everyone you can to do what they really want. Help them on the way, show them the right trail and keep them from falling off.

If your friends want to travel around the world, feed that wish. If they want to become professional cooks, show them it’s possible. Never let them down. Support people in their quest for their dreams, give them the tools or teach them where to find them.

3- Do the impossible.

Do the impossible and you’ll stand out. Good friends will be proud of you, support you on the way and will greatly admire you once you achieve what you want. Treasure these people and show them they also can.

What is impossible is up to you: learning a language in two months, traveling around the world, living an unconventional lifestyle, running a marathon, etc.

I can brag about doing many remarkable things in my life. People laughed at me, named me crazy, insulted me and more. But I never stopped… I always keep going. Sometimes I fail, but most of the times I achieve what I want. It’s a great feeling for me and for the rest of the people.

Good hearted people will want to imitate your success. Be there to help them out and extend them your hand. Tell them what your strategies were and inspire them to conquer the feats themselves.

4- Help in tough moments.

Be next to your friends in the toughest moments. That’s where the real friendship is. Be next to your friends when they need you and they’ll never forget you. Even in the smallest situations, if you extend a hand when the rest don’t you will stand out.

Do your best and everything you can to help them through the worst financial, health or emotional problems they could have. Try your best to inspire them to overcome all the difficulties. If you can’t help the way they need you, find another possibility. But always try.

5- Be an unforgettable lover.

Don’t be just one more boyfriend or girlfriend in your couple’s life. Be the one he or she will never forget about. Do it by having the most amazing experiences together. Take your love and your relationship to new heights.

Have the most amazing sexual experiences, live the best of life together and be a great companion. Show your love as no one else had and, just as I point out above, motivate and inspire your partner to achieve his or her ultimate dreams. Be there to show the way every day of his or her life.

As I said above, doing this won’t be easy. But don’t settle for less: work to become a legacy. Use your time in the world to shine and make others shine with you! Start the new year with this in mind!
