Before Sunrise Remake

Before Sunrise is not only one of my favorite movies. It also changed my life. It’s strong to say that but it really inspired me to set out on my first trip around Europe, to visit Vienna and to search for a romance as special as the one the protagonists, Jesse and Celine, have.

That had a huge impact on me. I’m not the same man as I was before watching the movie and setting out on the quests it took me. I’m more complete than I was back then – It’s like if the movie had filled  an empty void. It made me more of a dreamer.

Now I want to awaken new dreamers. I want to share my passion and love with the movie and its story with the rest of the world. This is where the remake project fits.

I don’t plan to shoot the movie for real – At least not in a professional way. I just want to have fun and share the moment with other fans. I’ll write the script, adapt it to the new millennium and put a bit of my views and ideas into it. Nothing big – The core and essence of the movie won’t change. It will also be a cool way to connect with Linklater (director), Hawk and Delply (who play Jesse and Celine) too – Maybe they even give the project  thumbs up!

In case you haven’t watched this movie yet I recommend you to buy it (it’s going as cheap as 7$ on Amazon!). At least rent it – It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely something you would like to check out. In a general rule, if you like this site you’ll also like that movie
