Its funny how if you hadnt specified you were argentine, i would have thought u were american or european...the things that pissed you off are the things that an american would first complaint about.
Still, that was fucked up. Cariocas are that way, they can&#039;t say no, they just cant. When you come to understand this, you will know that a &quot;yes&quot; in Rio must be taken lightly.
Either way, that lightness of being (unbearable to Kundera) is what keeps the heart of the city flowing, so im happy that you conclude with that last lesson.
For what really matters when you hit a spot like Rio is what the city will give to you, and not what you expect from it. Expecting is always a don&#039;t in the travelers guide.
Being ready and aware is different. You learnt that one this once.
